The AKG C417 features an omnidirectional polar pattern, designed to pick up sound from all directions for well-defined audio in multiple mounting locations. The microphone’s condenser design delivers an open and natural sound. It is well suited to broadcasting, theatrical applications, and on-stage performances, where a high degree of intelligibility is required along with an inconspicuous design.

Compact, clip-on design

The microphone comes complete with a tie clip and tie pin for optimal mounting flexibility on clothing and costumes. The compact design ensures that the microphone can be placed in multiple locations without becoming visually obtrusive. This flexibility makes it ideal for a range of applications including musical theatre, broadcast, public address, and more. The C417 PP is fitted with a three-pin XLR connector.
